Patricia Nic Eoin is the founder of the online Irish language school All About Irish, where she has successfully guided many learners through the structure and grammar of the language with clear, effective teaching methods. Understanding that mastering Irish also requires immersion in authentic, real-life content, Patricia has teamed up with Joe to create Listen Up Irish as a sister site to provide exactly that — rich stories, novels, and abundant exposure to native pronunciation. Her vision is to help learners build confidence and fluency through engaging, natural language experiences alongside solid structural foundations.

Joe Ó Fátharta, co-founder of Listen Up Irish, is a native Irish speaker from the Cois Fharraige Gaeltacht and passionate advocate of Irish literature. He brings his voice and narration to the courses, offering learners perfect native pronunciation and lively storytelling. Joe teaches Irish in Dublin City University and understands firsthand the challenges adult learners face due to the lack of truly immersive Irish learning experiences. His collaboration with Patricia on Listen Up Irish aims to fill that gap, combining his expertise with her structured approach to create a balanced and engaging learning journey.
