By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing a course or challenge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Licence to Access

When you enroll in a course or challenge, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the course materials for your own personal learning within the course platform.

All content remains the intellectual property of Listen Up Irish and its licensors.

2. Restrictions on Use

Participants may not:
- Download, copy, or extract audio or video files
- Share course materials or login access with third parties
- Adapt, remix, extract, synchronise, compile, or create derivative versions of course content, or combine course content into new formats
- Use course materials outside the authorised course platform
- Record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share course content

Participants may not use course materials, whether in whole or in part, to train artificial intelligence systems, language models, automated tutoring systems, or similar technologies, nor may course materials be uploaded to such systems for the purpose of generating derivative educational content.
This includes (but is not limited to) audio recordings, lesson videos, PDFs, transcripts, vocabulary materials, and challenge content.

Participants may not attempt to circumvent, bypass, undermine, or interfere with any platform security, access restrictions, or content-protection measures used within the course environment

3. Third-Party Licensed Content

Some courses include content used under license from publishers or other rights holders. These materials are provided strictly for in-course use and may not be reproduced, downloaded, or distributed outside the platform.

4. Course Availability & Lifetime Access

Access to each course or challenge is provided for the duration specified at the time of purchase.

Listen Up Irish reserves the right to modify course delivery or platform access arrangements in the future. Reasonable notice will be provided where possible.

Access may be suspended or terminated if these terms are violated.

Where the term ‘Lifetime access’ is used it refers to access for the lifetime of the course and/or the period during which Listen Up Irish continues to make the course available through its chosen platform(s). It does not guarantee access for the lifetime of the participant, nor does it guarantee perpetual availability irrespective of business closure, platform changes, licensing restrictions, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, and subject to any third-party licensing restrictions, Listen Up Irish would endeavour in the event of business closure or permanent discontinuation of a course to provide participants with reasonable notice and an opportunity to download any course materials that we are legally permitted to make available for offline personal use.

5. Payment

All prices are listed in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan is offered.

Access to the course or challenge is granted once payment is successfully processed.

If a payment plan is selected and installment payments are not completed, access may be suspended.

6. Refund Policy

Refund requests may be made within 14 days of purchase of a course; or within 14 days of Day 1 of a Challenge unless:
- A substantial portion of the course has been accessed; or
- You have consented to immediate access to digital content and waived your statutory right to cancel.

Refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected]

7. Digital Content & Right to Cancel (EU Consumers)

By enrolling and accessing the course immediately, you acknowledge that you are purchasing digital content, consent to immediate access, and understand that this may affect your statutory right to cancel once access has begun; please see the preceding paragraph for time limits with regard to cancellation and request for refund.

8. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

Sharing account access with others is prohibited. Course access is licensed to a single individual only unless otherwise agreed in writing. Shared household, workplace, classroom, or group use is not permitted without prior permission.

Listen Up Irish reserves the right to suspend accounts that appear to be shared or misused.

9. Community Behaviour

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with tutors, guest speakers, moderators, and fellow learners. Listen Up Irish reserves the right to remove access to live sessions, community spaces, or course materials without refund in cases of abusive, disruptive, harassing, or inappropriate behaviour.

10. Termination

Listen Up Irish reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any course or challenge without refund if these Terms & Conditions are breached.

11. Educational Disclaimer

Courses and challenges are provided for educational purposes only.

While the programme is designed to support progress in learning Irish, individual results will vary. No specific outcomes are guaranteed.
